We made the move to an independent business model for two reasons: we could specialize in what we do best for our clients and there are no conflicts of interest by being associated with larger Wall Street firms or other financial institutions. How much risk should I be willing to take?After a thorough discussion, we can determine the appropriate risk, given your goals and timeframes. One risk that doesn't remain constant is market risk. That's what separates us from others. You don't drive your car at the same speed 100% of the time. You need to adjust your speed to fit the current road conditions. You should be doing the same with your investments. We spend 2-3 hours daily measuring and mapping the market data, price, and volatility to help determine the current and future 'road conditions.' From there, we make the appropriate adjustments to your investments. Preserving your hard-earned capital during significant market declines is the key to building and sustaining wealth. |
