Understanding the wider business opportunity, Lois enrolled in Northwestern Universityâs CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ program and in 2011 opened Basil Financial Group in the Northcenter neighborhood of Chicago. Her work with clients is elevated beyond just the technical and encourages positive financial change in their lives. Basil Financial Group joined with Savant in 2023.

Hannah Bryant
Financial Advisor
Hannah has been involved in the financial services industry since 2013. Her interest in financial planning began in her first post-college job when she noticed members of her cohort making varied choices in their personal finances, despite having identical compensation packages. Hannah sought a way to deliver financial fundamentals to younger clients, as she understands the power of a long time horizon. This led Hannah to a web development program with inklings of launching her own Fintech solution.
Hannah joined her mother, Lois, at Basil Financial Group to help systematize the business and to innovate the services for younger clients. She was a financial advisor and partner at Basil Financial Group from 2015 until it joined with Savant in 2023.
Hannah graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in economics and a minor in business and management with a concentration in marketing from Knox College in Galesburg, IL. She also studied corporate finance and international marketing at the London School of Economics. Hannah is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and a sustaining member of Phi Beta Kappa.
